Мелокактус курвиспинус (изогнутоколючковый)

Ареал: Южная Мексика (низины штата Чьяпас), Гватемала, Гондурас
Описание: Стебель одиночный, шаровидной формы, чуть уплощенный, до 15 см высотой и до 18 см в диаметре. Ребра прямые, выступающие, 10-13. Ареолы округлые, с белым войлоком.
Колючки cероватые, шиловидные, крепкие, лучеобразно расположенные, изогнутые, 1,5-2 см длиной.
Цефалий крупный, красно-рыжий. Цветки мелкие, ярко-розовые. Плоды красновато-розовые.
